Collection: Champagne Régis Poissinet

Champagne Régis Poissinet is a progressive family estate from Cuchery, in the Vallée de la Marne. The family has cultivated vineyards there since the 17th century, but in 2008, Régis opted for a radical shift: fully biodynamic viticulture, based on living soil and maximum terroir expression. He now works with his son-in-law, Maxime, the sixth generation.

The 7 hectares of vineyards are spread across 35 plots and are primarily planted with Pinot Meunier, supplemented with Chardonnay and a small parcel of Pinot Noir. The clay-limestone and silex-rich soils produce champagnes with energy, minerality, and flinty notes. The old vines, averaging 40 years old, contribute to the complexity.

In the cellar, minimal intervention is key: spontaneous fermentation, aging in stainless steel and oak, low sulfite dosage, and a restrained use of dosage. The estate has been officially certified organic since 2022.

The style of Champagne Régis Poissinet is vibrant, straightforward, and saline, with pure terroir expression. Wines that combine energy and refinement, making Régis a figurehead of the new, nature-focused generation in Champagne.
