Champagne Régis Poissinet - Terre d'Irizée

Champagne Régis Poissinet - Terre d'Irizée

In the tranquil heart of the Vallée de la Marne, Régis Poissinet creates wines that resonate with the rhythm of nature. Terre de l'Irizée is an ode to the harmony between earth and humanity, between energy and patience. In his vineyards, where biodiversity thrives, the vines work independently, nourished by vibrant soils of clay, loam, and limestone. No intervention, no rush, just trust in balance and time.

This cuvée captures the soul of Poissinet's biodynamic work: a champagne that reflects not only the flavor but also the purity of its surroundings. Terre de l'Irizée is born from silence, intuition, and a deep connection with the seasons.

  • Indruk

Straw yellow in color with fine bubbles. The aroma is intense and pure with notes of brioche, ripe apple, and peach, supported by a delicate floral note. On the palate, a creamy texture unfolds with nuances of honey, citrus, and toasted hazelnut. The balance of freshness, minerality, and soft wood notes creates a refined balance. The finish is long, refreshing, and precise, a champagne that exudes pure elegance.

    Serve between 10 and 12°C.
Store in a cool, dark place.
  • Productieproces

Terre de l'Irizée was vinified 35% in oak barrels and 65% in stainless steel tanks. In the stainless steel tanks, the temperature was carefully controlled to preserve aromatic freshness, while oak aging added structure and complexity. Natural fermentation occurred spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without cold stabilization or filtration. Malolactic fermentation was carried out entirely to achieve a harmonious, rounded expression. After bottling under a favorable lunar phase, the wine was allowed to rest extensively "sur lie" for a finer mousse and subtle layering.
