Productinformatie
The N°1 72 Ultralight (listed by Lehmann as N°1#) is a wine glass from La Délicate, intended for red wine. Lehmann created that line with Arnaud Lallement, a chef with three Michelin stars. The bowl holds 72 cl and measures 105 mm at its widest point, so the wine gets plenty of air. Towards the top the glass narrows markedly, and the aromas linger in that narrower opening.
At the bottom, the rounded bowl flows without a knop or thickening into a very thin, straight stem on a flat, thin foot. The glass is machine-blown using the Ultralight process. Lehmann worked on it for two years, to make glass that is both fine and light. Each glass bears the Lehmann signature.

The La Délicate collection
Arnaud Lallement says he cooks in a pure, direct way, guided by precision, tension and balance in the flavours. Lehmann calls the curves of La Délicate timeless and subtle. From the same line we stock the N°3 60 Ultralight. That glass is slimmer and universal: besides red wine, Lehmann recommends it for champagne, white wine and rosé. For champagne, the line includes the 30 cl M5, among others.
Care
The glass is dishwasher safe, preferably on a glassware programme. Washing by hand in hot water without detergent gives the finest result. Dry with a microfibre cloth and never twist the foot and the bowl in opposite directions, or the stem will snap.
About Lehmann
Lehmann is a house from Reims, in the heart of Champagne, specialising in wine and champagne glasses. Its collections are conceived and designed in Reims, the Signature lines in collaboration with sommeliers and chefs. The glass itself is made by selected glassworks within the European Union, and all its tasting glasses are made of cristallin, lead-free crystal. On the machine-blown lines the rim is cold-cut. According to Lehmann, this produces a strong glass that stands up to daily use and still comes close to the finesse of mouth-blown crystal.
