Extra Brut

Extra brut Champagne has a sugar content between 0 and 6 grams per liter, which is lower than that of brut Champagne. This low sugar content results in a very dry Champagne. Extra brut falls within the categories established by the Champagne region's regulations and is produced according to the traditional method, which involves a second fermentation in the bottle. The minimal dosage contributes to the wine's pronounced freshness and taut structure.

    The first but certainly not the last time!
