Productinformatie
The Absolus 56 is the large wine glass from Lehmann's L'Absolue collection. With 56 cl in a bowl 97 mm across, a red wine gets all the room it needs to open up, while the inward-curving rim keeps the aromas together. A full-bodied white or a substantial rosé shows just as well in it.
The shape is deliberately quiet: a clean, slightly drop-shaped bowl on a long stem, without ornament. That makes it as much at home on a laid restaurant table as on your own, next to a bottle that still needs to breathe. The foot carries the poinçon and the Lehmann signature.

The L'Absolue collection
L'Absolue is Lehmann's universal line: modern, rounded shapes that suit every moment at the table. The series runs from the slender Absolus 22 to this 56 cl glass, so you can lay a whole table in one style. Looking for a size in between? Take a look at the Absolus 32 or the Absolus 38.
Care
The glass is dishwasher safe, preferably on a glassware programme. Washing by hand in hot water without detergent gives the finest result. Dry with a microfibre cloth and never twist the foot and the bowl in opposite directions, or the stem will snap.
About Lehmann
Lehmann has been blowing glass in Reims, in the heart of Champagne, for generations. The house develops its glasses together with sommeliers, and that knowledge goes into the machine-made lines as well. The rim is cut cold, which gives a glass that stands up to daily use and still comes close to the finesse of mouth-blown crystal.
