CPP-Wines: the introduction

Of course, we start with a brief introduction, in which we explain who CPP-Wines is and what we do.

What is CPP-Wines?

CPP-Wines is a family-owned Champagne importer and distributor founded in 2016.

But.

CPP-Wines goes back much further.
Over 10 years ago, we fell in love with the charm of Champagne. Not just the drink, but also the region itself. Whenever we had the opportunity, we visited various Champagne houses in Champagne.

Sometimes these were grand, impressive houses, with professional tours and tastings. The smaller houses, on the other hand, felt cozy and personal. Craftsman-like. It's incredibly enjoyable to wander among the vineyards and visit the various houses, where you not only taste the Champagnes but also gain more insight into the rich history of Champagne and its evolution.

Nearly 16,000 winegrowers operate in the Champagne region, thousands of whom produce their own Champagne. There are over 300 Champagne houses, and this number is growing annually, so there's plenty to discover!

We were visiting the region more and more often, bringing home bottles from various Champagne houses. This way, friends and family were introduced to our personal favorites and regularly asked us to bring them a bottle.
Our circle of friends expanded to become a circle of acquaintances, and the requests kept pouring in. That was the moment we realized our taste was appreciated.

The step from enthusiast to actually importing and distributing was obvious!

What is the taste of CPP Wines?

Exceptionally refined, with a soft, balanced mousse, neither too acidic nor too sweet, and naturally a Champagne perfect for drinking at any time. Our selection offers a variety of complexities and aromas, all within the framework of our taste. Curious? Take a look in our webshop !

And now what?

We're constantly searching for new Champagnes that we'll enjoy, expanding our selection. The Champagnes we import come directly from the Champagne houses. These are often relatively unknown and exclusive houses, often owned by the winemakers themselves. They oversee the entire process, from the soil to the grapes, and ultimately, the Champagne. This allows us to have pleasant, personal contact with the family and the house, and to gather valuable insights . We're happy to share these experiences with you!
